Real Reviews Collected from Yelp, Google, YP….

This girl is awesome! She's a young lady who pays close attention to detail and knows what she's doing. She's funny, honest and great to talk to while she's ripping your hair off. Oh and she has a lot of rewards & perks for referrals... So if you go, tell her I sent you!

Crystal H. - Yelp

I love Danielle, she has a wonderful personality and is very professional. Is the only person I trust with my waxing

Tisha Y. - Yelp

Not sure why there are any negative reviews. She is very thorough, clean, funny, reasonably priced, and doesn't make what could be an awkward Brazilian wax weird at all. Will definitely be going back!

Fallon B. - Yelp

Danielle did an amazing job on my eyebrows. I was super nervous because not only was this my first time getting my brows waxed, I also had some "not so good" experiences with threading and other brow artists. She made me feel comfortable and took her time to perfect the shape of my brows. I would recommend this business to anyone who wants their eyebrows to look amazing!!!

Karmen M. - Yelp

I would definitely suggest Danielle for her waxing services. She is extremely thorough and consistently does a great job. She also has a way of making you feel comfortable when waxing those "special areas". Her prices are great and she really is knowledgeable in her field. I don't leave reviews too often but good work deserves to be acknowledged.

  • WAXING vs SUGARING
As an esthetician since 2009, I can tell you that waxing and sugaring are about the same in terms of effectiveness, pain level, and technique. Both of them remove hair from the skin by grasping the hairs and then are flicked away, taking the hair out from the follicle, sugaring and hard wax are basically twins.

    Sugaring
Ingredients: A mixture of sugar, water + lemon juice
Techniques: Apply against hair growth + Remove with the hair growth
    ReGrowth: 4- 6 Weeks
    Time: 20 Minutes
After Service: Skin is smooth and feels untouched

Sugaring does have one characteristic that sets it apart in that it could be washed away with water if there is some residue, as opposed to needing to be removed with an oil for the wax.

    Waxing
Ingredients: Hydrogenated Resins, Vegetable Oils (Pharmaceutical Grade), Olive Oil and Color
Techniques: Apply with hair growth + Remove against the hair growth
    ReGrowth: 4-6 Weeks
    Time: 20 Minutes
After Service: Smooth is extremely smooth + recovery is a couple of hours

The difference is the substance that is used.

  • SHOULD YOU BE WAXING | SUGARING?
It is important that we know any medications that you are taking and/or any skin products that you are using. This can ensure a safe and successful waxing experience.
If you are taking or have taken any of these medications within the past three months, we need to talk. Please contact before scheduling an appointment:
    Accutane (Acne medication)
    Adapalene (Acne medication)
    Alustra (Retin A)
    Antibiotics
    Avage (Tazorac – Acne medication)
    Avita (type of Retin A)
    Clindamycin
    Differin (Acne medication)
    Doxycycline
    Erythromycin
    Isotretinoin (like Accutane)
    Madifloxicine
    Metronidazole
    Minocycline
    Renova (Retin A)
    Tazarac (Acne medication)
    Tazarotene (like Tazorac)
    Tetracycline
    Tretinoin (like Retin A)
These medications may cause the skin to thin or to be extra sensitive to waxing. Thin, sensitive skin can lift with the wax. If you have taken Accutane within the last year it is not advised to wax for one year after you have stopped taking this medication.
If you are currently using any of the following products, they can cause the skin to be overly sensitive. Please inform me prior to your appointment.
Other Acne medications not listed above
    Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic, Lactic)
    Topical Antibiotics
    Retinol
    Salicylic Acid
    Exfoliants/Laser Peels/Microdermabrasion
Remember, it’s important that you inform or update you consent form on what medications you may be taking so we can provide you with a safe waxing experience. If you are taking a medication or using a product that has changed your skin in any way, and you are unsure about the safety of waxing, please talk to your doctor first.
  • HOW TO PREPARE FOR A WAX | SUGAR?

    Please shower before your appointment.

Wear loose fit clothing (joggers, legging etc.) + a tank (underarm wax)

Hair must be a quarter of an inch a.k.a. long enough to pull the with your fingertips.

Resist the urge to shave between sessions.  Shaving chafes the skin and creates sharper, coarser hair!

Gently exfoliate the night before or take a warm bath to prep the skin before your wax.  Having a warm bath or shower before your wax can soften your skin allowing for easier hair removal.  We also recommend exfoliation the night before as this removes dead skin build up around and in the follicle again aiding in easier and more thorough removal.

The first time is the worst time, know that it gets better after every wax. We Promise!

Remember, it will be over before you know it. Being fuzz-free is so worth a couple minutes of discomfort!

Come to your appointment as relaxed as you can. Like a lot of things in life, the anticipation is often worse than the actual event.  Don’t listen to friends who tell you their waxing horror stories. They don’t come to us! Youtube videos and movie scenes with screaming guys will only make you more anxious.

This is your experience and we want it to be a good one!!

    Body Waxing | Sugaring FAQ

HOW LONG WILL MY WAX | SUGAR  LAST?

Usually your wax will last between 3–6 weeks but everyone’s rate of regrowth is different so results will vary for everyone. Hair will begin to grow back softer and thinner following your first visit. TIP: Don’t wait till it fully grows back. If the hair is long enough to pull then its time for your next visit.

CAN I STILL WAX BECAUSE I’M PREGNANT?

Yes, you can still wax but you may experience more skin sensitivity due to the hormonal changes your body is going through. We will try to make you as comfortable as possible during the service. We recommend checking with your OB/GYN during the last two months of pregnancy.

CAN I STILL WAX | SUGAR IF I TANNED THE DAY BEFORE?

Wait at least 24–48 hours between waxing and tanning because your skin may be more sensitive and you’re more likely to experience sunburn.

HOW LONG SHOULD MY HAIR BE TO GET WAXED | SUGARED?

We always say that if you can grab the hair then so can the wax.

CAN I WAX | SUGAR DURING THAT TIME OF THE MONTH?

Sure, just be aware that the area is more sensitive and you may experience more discomfort than usual. We ask that you apply new tampon prior to your appointment.
