Grassroots Law + New Era Detroit
During this hiatus, we were hit with COVID but a beautiful movement has erupted during it. The modern civil rights movement has been thrust forward and has shown us how beautiful and ugly this nation can really be.
I believe that we can impact some real change for our children and social equality for the Afro American Community.
We all have to do our part to move the needle forward and help bring forth support + change. My part has been to help raise awareness to everyone I can and fundraise for the efforts of our organization leaders such as Tamika Mallory and Shaun King, amongst others. (DONATION LINK IS STILL IN MY BIO)
I wanted to make a further impact past my own personal donation that would bring more awareness to the movement and help provide support simultaneously.
I designed these shirts as a reminder that I'm a proud black mother, community member, sister, and Afro-American business owner.

I choose these two organizations:
Grassroots Law (NATIONAL) has a solid plan (link below) and has proven actions for furthering the movement and providing support in these cases all over our nation.
New Era Detroit (LOCAL) because they help the youth in our very communities that are underfunded. Where the children need guidance and answers beyond the street. They help the very children where I am from Brightmoor, and other underserved areas of our city. New Era Detroit is positive for our youth, they teach love, and self resourcefulness.
